McDonald's Coffee Beats Starbucks'

It seems that Consumer Reports ran a taste test and McDonald's beat Starbucks in terms of Coffee taste. McDonald's coffee was "decent and moderately strong. Although it lacked the subtle top notes needed to make it rise and shine, it had no flaws."

Starbucks' coffee "was strong, but burnt and bitter enough to make your eyes water instead of open.”

That's such crap.

Which beer would most Americans prefer: Budweiser or Becks? High Life or Heineken?

Is Consumer Reports interested in fine coffee, or in affirming the plebeian tastes of the undiscriminating cheapskate masses?

Starbucks is not amazing, but it's quality, which is more than one can say for McDonalds.

I disagree with Paul...I've had really good super gourmet coffee, and I've had cheap crap. McDonalds doesn't have the best coffee in the world, no, but I'd say it is at least on par with Starbucks, which, personally, I've never cared for at all...
